Free Online Event through Toronto Metropolitan University What does the future of charitable giving look like? Through a series of panel discussions we will explore the struggles, politics and possibilities within the charitable sector. Drawing on the diverse voices of philanthropists and community leaders, Generous Futures aims to shed new light on equity and belonging in Canada. Recent conversations about food security are beginning to look at the wider issues of injustice, poverty and systemic inequality. What role does philanthropy play in shifting these narratives from food to equity? This panel will shed light on how charitable giving is trying to go deeper on the topic of food security in Canada.
