We all know that housing in Stratford is in a terrible state. There’s not enough of it, and it’s too expensive. People just can’t afford to live where they work. Something needs to be done.
A new citizen’s group, the Stratford Affordable Housing Alliance (SAHA), hopes to support the City of Stratford in improving housing. They met this month at The Local to discuss the obstacles and opportunities of the housing crisis from the perspective of people who actually have to deal with problems like high rent and the unavailability of homes for young families.
If you would like to participate in these discussions and learn about future actions, you can email SAHA to learn more about meeting times.
