The intent of the program is to promote sustainable practices within the city, and highlight the conscious efforts made by community members to contribute toward our collective carbon reduction goals. This year we have added another category to the mix, which is intended to showcase the tourism sector. Categories for participation are as follows:

• Waste Reduction and Management
• Electrification and Energy Management
• Green Building Award
• Tourism

Should there be an interest in applying to the program through a paper format, please contact the Clerk’s office.

Attached are posters that will be available at several locations in the city. A news release will be sent out shortly.

Much like last year, all participants will receive recognition for their green initiatives during Earth Week, in April 2024.
