THIS IS A COMMUNITY PROJECT, organized by the Perth County Sustainability Hub. You are warmly invited to help out.

If you have information that belongs here, please let us know through the contact box below, which goes directly to the page editors. You may first want to browse the work we’ve already done, using the links above.

THIS PROJECT IS ALWAYS UNDER CONSTRUCTION

We’re improving it as we go along, with the help of residents of Perth County. Please keep checking back as we find information to help our neighbours learn about retrofit projects.

You can help by letting us know about

    • your personal experiences with retrofitting
    • your plans for future retrofits
    • problems with retrofit projects
    • solutions to common problems

MOST OF ALL, we need your questions — always the best place to begin.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR LOCAL INFORMATION

If you can help us find information on local resources, please let us know, using the contact box on your right. We’re particularly interested in finding out about

  • inspectors
  • advisors
  • contractors
  • local grants and funding

We are grateful to live on the ancestral lands of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinabe and the Neutral (Attawanderon) peoples, settled according to the Dish With One Spoon law, in effect in the Americas since at least the 12th century CE. All peoples sharing this territory are expected to take only what they need, to leave enough for others, and to peacefully protect the viability of the land for future generations.
