At our January meeting we had a great conversation with SDSS teacher and mentor Christine Ritsma and Eco Club co-president Zach Kritzer. They have all kinds of great ideas for Stratford’s first community garden, which they hope to create this spring.
It’s an exciting time to be putting this project together; all kinds of great ideas and surprising challenges are coming up. The biggest problem seems to be that the City is requiring $5 million worth of insurance, but they’re hoping to find a way around that.
